Process
Before any performance or appearance, our on-site director meets with the all relevant venue
personnel — supervision and staff — to explain crowd control procedures.
In addition to standard security, our staff is trained to:
- Treat all guests and fellow employees with dignity and respect
- Maintain a proper attitude when responding to situations
- Use professional discretion at all times
- Be approachable, yet authoritative
We also instruct the venue and facility staff on:
- Tour access passes
- Enforcing tour policies
- Responding to someone who is not formally credentialed
- Efficient removal of people in unauthorized areas, and those who have violated facility or
tour policies
From assessing a potential problem with an overly enthusiastic guest, to improving relationships
between the venues and their communities, The Browning Group is able to assess and handle
any situation. We do so professionally, respectfully, and with the utmost discretion.
Road and Tour Management/Accounting
We handle all levels of activity from logistics to documentation and personnel, plus “mind the money.”
The critical component of tour management is keeping all the functions working at maximum efficiency.
Our responsibilities are simple: For the entire tour, the group or artist must be at
the right place, at the right time, with the right arrangements (venue, rooms, equipment, etc.),
all well-organized and operating as they should.
The numbers all have to be right too — a successful tour won’t work with just “after the fact”
accounting. Every expense has to be immediately understood and factored into the
total project budget to avoid money problems at the end of tour.
Drama does not have to be part of being on the road. We cover day-to-day logistics and eliminate problems before they happen. In a road management role, we oversee event operations from start to finish, including supervision and setup and breakdown of all event components; coordinating setup and troubleshooting at venues; management of road crew and local staff
as well as equipment; post-event recaps and analysis; and other duties as assigned.
